Champ was founded by 3 ex-Instacart engineers, Jagannath Putrevu, Ted Cheng and Peter Lin, who joined them in 2015 and have been building together ever since. 

Throughout their experience, they saw a major flaw in operations. Teams were overloaded with repetitive tasks, leaving little room to improve operational processes, whilst collaboration across departments became tangled in manual work.
